Dana Vs. The Internet

First, some background. Dana White and the UFC are supporters of SOPA and PIPA (and now ACTA) because they are concerned that streaming piracy is affecting their pay per view revenue. This support put the UFC on the radar of Anonymous and every other group of internet defenders. On Sunday, someone took down UFC.com and pointed the URL to another site. The UFC's webmaster regained control within a few hours, which emboldened Dana. Dana, being Dana, began taunting would-be hackers on Twitter (@DanaWhite - the bickering is still ongoing if you care to read it). So now, someone has posted Dana's personal information on the internet, presumably phone numbers and addresses.

There's no way for Dana to come out of this spat as a winner. The UFC is not going to lose any fans, but his personal image is at stake. He's only going to look foolish and out of touch and cause himself a lot of personal headaches. This type of issue is generally best left to the attorneys and law enforcement. Here's Dana talking with Ariel about it:

With a month left to go we already have a great list of celebrities for bid. Including Randy Couture, Forrest Griffin, Martin Kampmann, Clay Guida, Kyle Kingsbury, Natasha Wicks, Jay Heiron, Michele Guiterrez, Chandella Powell, Stephanie Ann Cook, and our own Ryan Couture! Auction winners will be treated to dinner at Fogo De Chao right after the auction and then back to Mix for bottle service! We will be adding to a long list of silent auction items and raffle prizes including some sweet stuff from the UFC!
Auction runs from 5pm till 9pm and cost $15 at the door for entry
After Party starts at 10PM till ?
